Plan your journey

What shape is the journey?

This starts an itinerary enquiry, not a confirmed booking. Live prices, availability and payment remain unavailable until the secure iDrive API release gates pass.

What we commit to

Faisalabad is a working city and the journeys people make here reflect that. This is Pakistan’s textile capital, and most of what we are asked to drive is factory to factory, mill to buyer, hotel to industrial estate and back to an airport in another city. It is not a sightseeing market and we do not pretend otherwise.

The city sits on the M-4, which runs 309 km end to end from Pindi Bhattian to Multan. The Pindi Bhattian to Faisalabad section has been open since 2003 and the full route was completed in 2019, which puts Faisalabad within motorway reach of both Lahore and Islamabad without touching the GT Road at all.

The airport question

Faisalabad does not have an international airport that serves most travellers’ needs, so in practice Lahore and Islamabad are the gateways. That makes the airport transfer an intercity journey rather than a city one, and it is the single most common request we get for this city.

Lahore is the closer of the two and the usual choice. Islamabad is further but is the hub for long-haul traffic, so a passenger connecting from Europe, China or the Gulf on a wide-body frequently lands there instead. Either way, plan it as a motorway journey with a fixed departure time rather than as a run to a local airport, and tell us the flight number and scheduled time so the departure is worked back from check-in rather than from the flight.

Business travel, honestly described

Buying trips here have a particular shape: several mills in a day, spread across industrial areas, with unpredictable meeting lengths and samples to carry. A car that waits is worth more than a cheap fare, because the alternative is standing outside a factory gate trying to summon a ride on a phone that may or may not have signal, with a box of samples.

Full-day hire with the same driver is the standard arrangement, and it is what we would recommend. Tell us the shape of the day, roughly how many stops, and whether you need boot space for samples, and we will quote the day rather than the legs.

Getting to and from

The motorway network puts Faisalabad in a good position. Lahore and Islamabad are both reachable on the M-4 and M-2 combination, and the M-4 continues south to Multan, from where the M-5 runs on towards Sukkur. For reference on the coach market, the reported Islamabad to Faisalabad fare after the March 2026 fuel increase was Rs 1,950, up from Rs 1,750.

Fuel is the reason those figures move. Petrol has been Rs 343.10 a litre since the OGRA notification effective 26 August 2026, against Rs 264.61 a year earlier. Any transport price you find quoted online in Pakistan without a date attached should be treated with suspicion.

Work back from check-in

An airport run from Faisalabad is a motorway journey to another city. Give us the flight and the check-in time you want to make, and we will set the departure from that rather than from the departure time on your ticket.

Tell us the journey and we will price it. A submitted request is not a booking until availability, price and terms are confirmed.

Every way of making this journey

We are one row in this table, and not the cheapest one. Here is what the alternatives actually cost and what each of them asks of you.

Option Typical cost Time What to know
Bus to Islamabad Rs 1,950 About 4 h March 2026 fare, reported after the fuel increase.
inDrive or Yango Varies Yango operates in Faisalabad. inDrive has no fixed tariff.
iDrive.pk, car with a driver Quoted for your journey A fixed price once quoted, a vetted driver whose photo and vehicle registration you see before the journey, and a car sized to your party and luggage. Booked before you travel, so it does not depend on having a local SIM when you land.

Costs for other operators checked on August 31, 2026 and published from their own booking systems, official notices or named third-party sources. Fuel in Pakistan moved from Rs 264.61 a litre in September 2025 to Rs 343.10 by August 2026, so fares here move quickly. Treat these as a guide and confirm with the operator.

Which vehicle actually fits

Seat counts are the manufacturer figures. The passenger and luggage numbers beside them are what the vehicle carries in practice, with the cases people really travel with. If your party is near the limit, tell us the number of bags rather than the number of people, because that is what decides it.

  • Suzuki WagonR 3 passengers, 2 cases Short city transfers on a budget. The tall boot helps more than the engine does.
  • Toyota Yaris or Corolla 3 to 4 passengers, 2 to 3 large cases The workhorse. City work, airport transfers and the motorway run between Lahore and Islamabad.
  • Honda BR-V 5 passengers with luggage, or 7 with almost none Family airport transfers on paved routes. The third row eats the boot, so it suits children or short hops rather than seven adults with cases. Not a mountain vehicle.
  • Toyota Fortuner 5 passengers with full luggage, 7 travelling light Rough road and mountain work: Skardu, Hunza, Naran, Babusar. Ask for the diesel four-wheel-drive, because the petrol version is two-wheel-drive.
  • Toyota Land Cruiser 4 to 5 passengers with full luggage Protocol and expedition work, and a genuine choice for Skardu and Deosai. It returns 5 to 10 km a litre, which at Rs 343 a litre is the honest reason it costs what it costs.
  • Toyota Hiace Grand Cabin 13 passengers plus the driver The group and family vehicle. Gulf arrivals into Sialkot and Peshawar with heavy luggage, tour groups, weddings, long intercity runs.
  • Toyota Coaster 25 to 29 passengers with hold luggage Large groups, corporate shuttles and pilgrimage travel. Worth knowing that the motorway toll alone is Rs 3,350 each way against Rs 1,430 for a car.

How booking works

  1. 01 Tell us the journey Where from, where to, when, how many of you and how much luggage. Precise addresses matter more than you would think, because a Rawalpindi address and an Islamabad address twenty minutes apart are very different journeys.
  2. 02 We quote a fixed price One figure for the whole journey, with the vehicle class it assumes. If a motorway toll or a waiting period is part of it, you see that too.
  3. 03 You see the driver and the car Before the journey you get the driver photograph and the vehicle registration, so you know exactly who and what you are looking for.
  4. 04 You travel At an airport your driver waits inside arrivals with a name sign. Check the photograph and the registration plate against what we sent you before you get in.

Frequently asked questions

Does Faisalabad have an airport?

Not one that serves most travellers’ needs. In practice Lahore and Islamabad are the gateways, so an airport transfer from Faisalabad is an intercity motorway journey.

Which airport should I use?

Lahore is closer and is the usual choice. Islamabad is further but takes most of the long-haul traffic, so it is often the right answer for a connection from Europe, China or the Gulf.

How is Faisalabad connected by road?

By the M-4, which runs 309 km from Pindi Bhattian to Multan. That links to the M-2 for Lahore and Islamabad without using the GT Road, and continues south to Multan and on towards Sukkur.

Can I hire a car and driver for a day of mill visits?

Yes, and it is the arrangement we would recommend. Meeting lengths are unpredictable and a waiting car with boot space for samples is worth more than a cheap single fare.

Can you carry samples or boxes?

Yes, but tell us the volume at the quote stage so the vehicle is sized for it rather than assumed.

How much notice do you need for an early morning airport run?

As much as you can give, and always the flight number and the check-in time you want to make. We work the departure back from check-in.

What do coaches cost to Islamabad?

The reported fare after the March 2026 fuel increase was Rs 1,950, up from Rs 1,750. Fares in Pakistan move with fuel, so treat any undated figure with suspicion.

Can you do a multi-day booking with the same driver?

Yes. For buying trips covering several days it is the usual arrangement and it saves rebuilding the itinerary each morning.

Do you cover Jhang, Sargodha, Chiniot and Sahiwal?

Yes, as onward journeys. Give the destination at the quote stage because it changes the driver hours.

Are there ride-hailing apps in Faisalabad?

Yango has operated in Faisalabad alongside inDrive and Bykea. Uber and Careem no longer run ride-hailing anywhere in Pakistan.

Will I know the driver before pickup?

Yes. The photograph and vehicle registration reach you before the car does.

Is the price fixed?

Yes, once quoted and accepted, for the day or the journey as described.

Tell us the journey and we will price it

Send the route, the date, the number of travelling and how many cases you have. You will get one price for the whole journey and the vehicle class it assumes. If we cannot cover it properly we will say so rather than take the booking.
