Questions about this class
How much luggage really fits in a standard sedan?+
Three large cases in the boot, plus hand luggage in the cabin. The Honda City has the largest boot in the class at 510 litres, the Yaris 476, the Corolla GLi and XLi 470 and the Changan Alsvin 436. If you are four people arriving on an international flight with a case each, this class works. If you are five, it does not.
Which sedan should I choose — Corolla, Yaris, Honda City or Alsvin?+
The Corolla GLi and XLi are the most familiar cars on Pakistani roads and the easiest to service anywhere in the country, but every one in a rental fleet is a used 2014–2021 car because Toyota discontinued the 1.3 in 2021. The Yaris is the newer Toyota equivalent. The Honda City has the biggest boot. The Alsvin is the newest design and the cheapest to hire, with a smaller service network behind it.
Is a standard sedan suitable for the Lahore–Islamabad motorway?+
Yes — this is the class built for that journey. All four cars will sit at motorway speed comfortably with four aboard and a full boot.
Can I take a sedan to Murree, Naran or Skardu?+
Murree, Nathia Gali and the metalled Galiyat roads are fine in dry weather. Naran town on the metalled road is manageable. Skardu, Hunza, Babusar Top, Fairy Meadows and the track up to Lake Saif-ul-Malook are not — those need a high-clearance four-wheel drive.
I am flying in from the UK. What happens when I land?+
On airport journeys your driver meets you at arrivals. Book before you travel and the vehicle class you chose is the class that turns up.
Is the price I am quoted the price I pay?+
Yes. The price is fixed once it is quoted.
Who will be driving?+
A vetted driver, with a photo and registration on record.
Can I book a sedan for a one-way intercity journey?+
Yes. One-way city-to-city journeys are a standard booking on this class — Lahore to Islamabad, Karachi to Hyderabad, Rawalpindi to Gilgit and others. Tell us the pickup point, the destination and the date.
Can I hire a sedan with a driver by the month?+
Yes, monthly hire with a driver is available on this class and is common for corporate use.
Are these cars automatic or manual?+
Both exist in the class. The Corolla GLi and XLi came in manual and automatic, the Yaris in manual and CVT, the Honda City in manual and CVT, and the Alsvin as a 1.3 manual or a 1.5 dual-clutch automatic. Tell us if you need an automatic specifically.
