Is the Suzuki APV a seven-seater or an eight-seater?
The manufacturer's sheet says eight. Every Pakistani rental site advertises seven. That contradiction is real, and it is worth settling before you book rather than at the kerb. Ask which configuration you are getting, and we will confirm the seat count of the actual vehicle in writing with your quote. Do not assume the eighth seat is there.
How much luggage fits in a Suzuki APV?
With every seat occupied, two or three cabin bags. The APV puts people where the boot would otherwise be, so a full load of passengers with checked suitcases will not fit. If your group is travelling with large cases, either fold a row and carry fewer people, or book a second vehicle for the luggage.
Is the Suzuki APV 4x4?
No. The petrol APV is rear-wheel drive, not four-wheel drive. Rear-wheel drive behaves differently on wet, loose or steeply climbing surfaces, particularly with little weight over the back axle. On dry metalled roads it is unremarkable and perfectly manageable. If your route leaves the tarmac, book a four-wheel-drive jeep instead.
Can I take an APV to Murree, Naran or the northern areas?
On metalled hill roads at a measured pace, yes. It is a tall, light, rear-wheel-drive van, so it is not the vehicle for jeep track, snow or loose gravel climbs, and it should not be hurried through switchbacks with a full load. For rough northern sections, a four-wheel-drive jeep is the correct booking.
Is the APV comfortable for a long journey?
It is a van, and it rides like one: upright seating, noticeable wind noise and a modest pace over long motorway stretches. Its virtue is that seven people travel together in one vehicle rather than two. For a full day of intercity driving with adults, an MPV or a crossover is the more comfortable choice.
Is the APV a good airport vehicle for a large group?
It carries the group, but not the group's suitcases. With all seats occupied you have room for two or three cabin bags only, so add a second vehicle if you are arriving with checked luggage. On airport journeys the driver meets you at arrivals rather than expecting you to find the car outside.
Is the APV chauffeur-driven or self-drive?
Both chauffeur-driven and self-drive hire are arranged through idrive.pk, and which applies to the APV you are quoted is confirmed with your quote. Most group and intercity APV bookings are chauffeur-driven. Drivers are vetted, and you are given the driver's photo and registration details rather than an anonymous number.
What does "or similar" mean on an APV booking?
It means a vehicle of the same class and seat count may be supplied in place of the exact car shown. Because the APV's own seat count is disputed between the manufacturer's sheet and the local market, tell us how many passengers you have and we will confirm the vehicle and its seating in writing with the quote.
What does the hire include - fuel, tolls and driver meals?
These are set out in writing on your quote rather than as a blanket policy, because they vary by route and duration. What does not vary is the price: once quoted, it is fixed. Pricing is worked out per route at the booking stage rather than published against the vehicle.
