Luggage is stated in cases rather than litres, because that is the figure that decides whether a party fits. If you are near the limit, tell us the number of bags rather than the number of people.
Why people choose it
The Yaris is the car Toyota built to replace the 1.3 Corolla in Pakistan, and it does the same job in a newer package: a five-seat petrol saloon with a 476-litre boot, offered with a 1,329 cc or 1,496 cc engine and either a manual or a seven-speed CVT. If you want Corolla dependability and Toyota's service network in a car that is actually current rather than a used 2014–2021 example, this is the one.
What to know before you book it
Questions about this vehicle
How many people fit in a Toyota Yaris sedan?
Five on paper. Four adults with luggage for a long journey. Three across the back is workable in town; on a long intercity run with a loaded boot, four adults is the realistic booking. If you are five with cases, tell us before we quote and we will put you in a larger class rather than squeeze you in.
How much luggage does the Yaris boot hold?
Three large cases plus a cabin bag. That is a real working figure, not a best-case one, and it is enough for four people on an intercity trip or an airport run. Give us your bag count when you enquire and we will confirm the fit in writing rather than let you find out at the kerb.
Is the 1.3 or the 1.5 Yaris better for a long trip?
They look identical from the outside, which is where the Pakistani market usually stops explaining. With five adults and a full boot on a long climb, the 1.3 works hard and the CVT gearbox drones under load. The 1.5 has more in reserve. Tell us your route and we will confirm in writing which engine your quote covers.
Can a Yaris go to Murree or Naran?
Murree and Naran town in dry weather, yes. The sealed road is within its range with a sensible passenger and luggage load. In snow, heavy rain, or beyond the tarmac towards the higher valleys, it is the wrong car. For those legs ask us for a vehicle with more ground clearance and the drivetrain to match.
Is the Toyota Yaris suitable for Skardu or Hunza?
No. This is a city, motorway and intercity saloon, front-wheel drive at normal ride height. Skardu and Hunza involve long unsealed and broken sections that a low saloon should not be asked to take, however comfortable it is on the M-2. Ask us to quote a higher-clearance vehicle for those routes and we will.
Is the Yaris comfortable for a long motorway journey?
For four adults with luggage, yes. It settles well on the M-2 and the boot takes three large cases plus a cabin bag. The one thing worth knowing before you book is the engine: fully loaded on a long gradient the 1.3 is working, and the CVT is audible about it. Ask which variant your quote covers.
What does "Toyota Yaris or similar" mean?
We guarantee the class and capacity, not one registration number. If the specific Yaris is not the car that arrives, the replacement is another standard sedan with at least the seats and boot space quoted to you. The price you agreed is fixed and does not change because of a substitution on the day.
Can I book a Yaris for an airport pick-up?
Yes. For airport journeys your chauffeur meets you inside arrivals rather than leaving you to find the vehicle outside. Drivers are vetted and you receive the driver's photo and vehicle registration before travelling. The price is fixed once quoted. Confirm your case count with us first so three cases plus a cabin bag is genuinely enough.
iDrive publishes a vehicle CLASS, and supplies this model or a similar approved vehicle in the same class. That is how the whole trade works here; we would rather say so than imply a specific registration is reserved for you.
