idrive.pk — Terms of Service / Booking Terms
Last updated: [DATE — TBC on publication]
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the idrive.pk website and booking platform (the “Platform”) and your booking of vehicle hire, chauffeur/transfer, excursion, wedding convoy, and security guard services through it. Please read them before making a booking. By using the Platform or making a booking, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who We Are
1.1 idrive.pk is operated by Mohammad Sakunder, trading as “idrive.pk,” a sole trader registered in the United Kingdom, with a correspondence address at 20 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU (“idrive.pk”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
1.2 idrive.pk is a booking platform, not a transport operator or security company. We provide an online booking engine that connects customers with independent, third-party vehicle owners, drivers, and security guards (“Partners”) who are separately vetted and onboarded by us. When you book through idrive.pk, you are entering into a contract for the underlying service (transport, chauffeuring, excursion, convoy, or security) directly with the relevant Partner. idrive.pk acts as the Partner’s disclosed agent in arranging and processing that booking on the Partner’s behalf, in exchange for a commission paid by the Partner (see Section 4).
1.3 This distinction matters for how liability works — see Section 9.
2. Who Can Use idrive.pk
2.1 You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to make a booking on the Platform.
2.2 The Platform is accessible globally, so that both customers already in Pakistan and customers travelling to Pakistan can arrange bookings before arrival.
2.3 You are responsible for ensuring the information you provide at booking (name, contact details, travel dates, pickup locations, passenger/guest numbers, etc.) is accurate and complete. Bookings for services requiring a driving licence (e.g., self-drive vehicle hire) require you to hold a valid licence recognised for use in Pakistan; Partners may require sight of this before releasing a vehicle.
3. Our Services
idrive.pk currently facilitates bookings for:
- Vehicle hire, with or without a driver
- Chauffeured point-to-point and city-to-city transfers
- Airport transfers
- Excursions and activities
- Wedding “protocol” convoy services (vehicles with or without drivers, with or without decoration)
- Standalone personal/event security guard hire, or security guard hire combined with a vehicle
3.1 Pilot cities. As of launch, idrive.pk’s Partner network is concentrated in and around Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, with routes extending outward from these hubs. Availability outside these areas may be limited. [PROPOSED DEFAULT — confirm with owner: consider stating pilot cities may expand over time and that availability is shown at the point of search.]
3.2 This is not an on-demand service for all bookings. Some services — particularly wedding convoys, security guard hire, and certain vehicle/driver combinations — require at least 24 hours’ advance notice to allow time for Partner confirmation and vetting checks. The Platform will indicate at the time of booking whether a service is available for immediate/short-notice booking or requires advance notice, and will not allow you to complete a booking that falls inside the required notice window.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 The price you see is the price you pay. The total price shown to you at the time of booking is the full and final price for the service, inclusive of all mandatory charges. We do not add hidden fees, surcharges, or extra charges after you have completed your booking. Any optional extras will be clearly itemised and agreed before they are added to your total.
4.2 Prices are set and shown in Pakistani Rupees (PKR), our operating currency, and may vary depending on route, vehicle class, duration, service type, and demand. If you would prefer to pay in a different currency, a range of major currencies (including British Pounds Sterling, US Dollars, and Euros) are offered at checkout. The amount charged in your chosen currency is calculated from the PKR price using a reference exchange rate, checked against two independent sources and refreshed periodically, plus a small currency-conversion margin to cover exchange-rate risk and processing costs. The exchange rate and margin used are shown to you and fixed at the moment you pay, and are not changed retroactively.
4.3 idrive.pk collects your payment at the time of booking using [PAYMENT PROCESSOR NAME — TBC]. Your payment is processed securely; idrive.pk does not store your full card details.
4.4 idrive.pk charges the Partner a commission (currently 15% of the completed job value, subject to change and configurable by idrive.pk from time to time) for use of the Platform. This commission is deducted from the amount paid to the Partner — it is not an additional charge to you.
4.5 The Partner is paid, net of commission, after the job has been confirmed as completed. [PLACEHOLDER — pending professional legal review: the exact payment flow, fund-holding arrangement, and timing of Partner payout is still being finalised with a solicitor/fintech-compliance specialist in light of UK Payment Services Regulations and Money Laundering Regulations, and may be updated in a future version of these Terms.]
4.6 If you choose to pay in a currency other than PKR, the currency conversion described in clause 4.2 is calculated and applied by idrive.pk itself, using our own reference-rate service, before your payment is taken. Any further conversion fees, exchange-rate spreads, or foreign-transaction charges applied separately by your own card issuer or bank are outside idrive.pk’s control.
5. Making and Confirming a Booking
5.1 A booking request is made by selecting your service, route, dates, and any options, and completing payment.
5.2 A booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation from idrive.pk showing the assigned Partner’s details, including — where applicable — the Partner’s photo, the vehicle’s registration number, and vehicle class/details (“Booking Confirmation”). Until you receive a Booking Confirmation, your booking request is provisional.
5.3 [PROPOSED DEFAULT — confirm with owner: If idrive.pk is unable to secure a Partner for your requested booking, we will notify you and refund your payment in full within [X business days], unless you choose an alternative option we offer.]
6. Cancellations and Refunds
6.1 Your right to cancel
[PROPOSED DEFAULT — confirm with owner] Unless a different cancellation window is shown for your specific booking at the time you book (which will take priority), the following default cancellation terms apply:
- Vehicle hire, transfers, and excursions: Free cancellation and full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before may incur a cancellation charge of up to 10% of the booking value.
- Wedding convoy and security guard bookings: Free cancellation and full refund if you cancel at least 72 hours before the scheduled event. Cancellations inside this window may incur a cancellation charge of up to 10%.
- No-shows are treated as non-refundable, since the Partner has committed the vehicle, driver, and/or guard for that slot.
These figures are proposed defaults for the owner to confirm, adjust, or make configurable per service type before publication.
6.2 idrive.pk’s right to cancel a mismatched booking
6.2.1 If the vehicle, driver, security guard, or service that arrives does not match what was shown to you in your Booking Confirmation — for example, the wrong vehicle, the wrong vehicle class, an undisclosed change of driver, or an unauthorised substitution — idrive.pk may cancel that booking instantly, without needing to pay or compensate the Partner for it, and you will be entitled to a full refund and/or a replacement booking, at our discretion.
6.2.2 We encourage you to check the Partner’s photo, the vehicle registration plate, and vehicle details against your Booking Confirmation before starting your journey, and to contact us immediately through the Platform if anything does not match.
6.3 Partner-initiated cancellations
If a Partner cancels a confirmed booking, we will try to find you a replacement Partner. If we cannot do so in time, you will receive a full refund. [PROPOSED DEFAULT — confirm with owner: consider whether any goodwill compensation should be offered for late Partner cancellations.]
7. Safety Features
7.1 For every booking, the Platform shows you the assigned Partner’s photo, the vehicle’s registration number, and provides live journey tracking for the duration of the trip, where technically available.
7.2 Partners are vetted before being onboarded, including a criminal-record check carried out through Pakistan’s provincial Police Character Certificate (PCC) system. Partners with convictions or records in categories including (but not limited to) violence, sexual offences, dishonesty or fraud, and dangerous driving are disqualified from onboarding. PCC checks are refreshed periodically; the renewal interval is set and may be adjusted by idrive.pk from time to time and is not fixed by these Terms.
7.3 These features are safety measures, not guarantees. Vetting, photo/registration display, and live tracking are designed to reduce risk and increase accountability, but idrive.pk cannot guarantee that a Partner will not act inappropriately, negligently, or unlawfully, or that a background check has captured every possible risk. If you feel unsafe at any point during a booking, contact local emergency services first, and then report the incident to idrive.pk as soon as possible.
8. Your Responsibilities and Prohibited Use
When using the Platform, you agree that you will not:
- Provide false, misleading, or incomplete information when booking;
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, or to transport prohibited goods or persons without lawful basis;
- Attempt to arrange payment to a Partner outside the Platform to avoid commission (“off-platform circumvention”), which undermines the vetting and safety protections described in Section 7;
- Harass, threaten, or endanger a Partner, guard, or driver;
- Interfere with, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or its systems;
- Use another person’s account or payment method without authorisation.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, and to cancel existing bookings, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 idrive.pk’s role. As set out in Section 1, idrive.pk is an independent booking platform and disclosed agent — not the provider of transport, chauffeuring, excursion, convoy, or security services. Partners are independent contractors, not employees or agents of idrive.pk, and are responsible for their own acts, omissions, negligence, and compliance with applicable law while carrying out a booking.
9.2 What idrive.pk is responsible for. idrive.pk is responsible for the proper functioning of the booking engine itself — including accurately processing your booking, showing you the correct price upfront, matching you with a vetted Partner, displaying accurate safety information at the time of booking, and exercising reasonable care in how we vet and onboard Partners as described in Section 7.
9.3 What idrive.pk is not responsible for. To the fullest extent permitted by law, idrive.pk is not liable for the acts or omissions of a Partner during the performance of a booked service — including, but not limited to, driving conduct, vehicle condition (except as represented at booking), personal injury, property damage, delay, or any criminal act by a Partner that our vetting process did not and could not reasonably have identified.
9.4 Not a package holiday. idrive.pk’s services are standalone transport, excursion, convoy, and security bookings and are not sold in combination with accommodation as part of a package. Accordingly, idrive.pk does not act as a “package organiser” and the UK Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 do not apply to bookings made through the Platform.
9.5 [PLACEHOLDER — pending professional legal review: The precise scope, caps, and exclusions of idrive.pk’s liability (including in respect of indirect or consequential loss, and any statutory rights that cannot be excluded) require review by a qualified solicitor before this section is finalised for publication. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.]
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 The Platform, including its design, text, graphics, logos, software, and the “idrive.pk” name and branding, is owned by or licensed to Mohammad Sakunder trading as idrive.pk, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
10.2 You may use the Platform only for your own personal booking purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, or create derivative works from the Platform’s content or software without our prior written permission.
11. Governing Law
[GOVERNING LAW — TBC, pending solicitor advice on UK/Pakistan cross-border considerations]
12. Complaints
12.1 If something goes wrong with a booking, or you have a complaint about a Partner or about idrive.pk itself, please contact us through the channel described in our separate Complaints Policy, which sets out how we handle, investigate, and respond to complaints, and the timescales you can expect.
12.2 Complaints involving your personal data should be directed as set out in our Privacy Policy. [DATA PROTECTION CONTACT — TBC, see Privacy Policy]
13. Changes to These Terms
13.1 We may update these Terms from time to time — for example, to reflect regulatory changes, new services, or operational updates (such as changes to the commission rate, cancellation windows, or advance-notice requirements, all of which are configurable within the Platform).
13.2 Where we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, by notice on the Platform) before the change takes effect. The version of these Terms in force at the time you make a booking will govern that booking.

This document is a plain-English consumer-facing draft intended as a starting point. It is not a substitute for review by a qualified UK solicitor (ideally one with Pakistan-market awareness) before publication, particularly around Sections 4.5, 9, and 11.
