It does the M-2 well and is happy at motorway speed, but be realistic about refinement. The 998 cc three-cylinder engine is not quiet at a sustained 120 km/h, and the AGS gearbox hesitates when you ask for a sudden overtake. For a long day with four adults and luggage, a larger car is calmer.
Can I take a Suzuki Cultus to Murree?
On metalled roads in dry weather, yes. In snow, on unmetalled sections, or onward to Naran, Swat, Hunza or Skardu, no — it is a front-wheel-drive hatchback with modest ground clearance. Is the Suzuki Cultus 4x4?
No, it is front-wheel drive, as every car in this economy class is. That is fine for city driving, the full length of the motorway, and dry metalled roads up to Murree. It is not a substitute for a proper four-wheel drive on northern valley roads. Tell us the route and we will confirm the correct class.
Is the Cultus AGS automatic any good?
The AGS is an automated manual rather than a conventional automatic, so it shifts with a noticeable pause, most obvious pulling away in traffic and mid-overtake. Nothing is faulty; that is simply how it behaves. If you would prefer a manual, or transmission matters for self-drive, we confirm the variant in writing with your quote.
Is the Cultus a good car for airport transfers?
